Removing Hornets from a hive (read description)

Beehives like this can only be used one year by the Hornets. I'm removing these Hornets not sure if there workers or Queens. It's a queen's there's a good chance they'll wake up. If their workers they are dead. Every year the Queens find a warm place to stay for the winter then they start new hives from scratch the following year. Only the Queens are capable of surviving the winter. I don't know if these are Queens or regular Hornets. I'm still keeping the bees for a while just to see
