PORSCHE 997 TURBO MAJOR SERVICE AND MAINTENANCE PART 3; CAMSHAFTS sleeve rotation P0021
Part 3 outlines the camshaft inner sleeve problem that plagues the 997.1 Turbo engine. The dreaded P002x DTC is one you never want to get. Even if a inner sleeve is partially rotated, it is a condition that you want to address if the engine is removed. This preventative, or in my case, needed repair should be carried out regardless of mileage or age.
