Fresh outrage in Bihar after the postmortem report of an 18-year-old NEET aspirant found dead in a Patna hostel confirms rape and brutal assault before her murder. The report says injuries were found all over her body, including private parts, ruling out a natural death. As protests mount, the victim’s parents have accused the SIT and police of harassment, alleging midnight visits to collect blood samples. The Bihar Deputy Chief Minister has defended the SIT, even as two police officers have been suspended for negligence.
