Kiesel Guitars Buckeye Burl Carved Top CT6 Getting Carved Out on the HAAS

The California Carved Top (in the 6 series both Double CT and Single Cut CS) tops start out as 2" thick billets and then get book matched in house by our ultra thin blade giving the best possible book matching. The final result is a book matched top that is almost 1 full inch thick! Watch this video and see the process these go through at KIesel Guitars. We uses the latest HAAS Super Speed CnC machines for our machining on our instruments. These machines are accurate down to tolerances of 0.0010", that is the equivalent of splitting a human hair down the middle twice!
