The Görlitz district as a business location

Due to its location in the easternmost part of Saxony, on the border with Poland and the Czech Republic, the district of Görlitz is predestined to take on the challenges of German-Polish-Czech economic relations, particularly in the key sectors of metal construction, the plastics industry, the glass industry and renewable energies, and to work on the formation of a joint tri-national economic area.
