Academy for Dental Assistants was featured on Fox 13 News Tampa Bay on Charley's World.

This was such an honor for Academy for Dental Assistants to be featured on Fox 13 New Tampa Bay - Charley's World.

The camera crew and Charley Belcher came to the school and filmed 4 live segments about the school and our 12 Week Entry Level Dental Assistant Training Program.

Each segment is about 3 minutes long. In the first segment, we talk about the school and the Dental Assistant Program and how upon graduation and completion of the 200-hour Externship the student will receive their Expanded Functions Dental Assistant and Dental Radiology Certifications from the Florida Board of Dentistry.

The second segment shows our lab with students doing different dental assistant procedures that will be taught in the program such as taking digital dental x-rays, taking alginate impressions, polishing teeth, making temporary crowns, and much much more.

The third segment has 3 graduates of the 12 Week Dental Assistant Training Program and what they are doing now. One of our graduates is currently applying for Dental School to become a Dentist, another graduate went on to become a Dental Hygienist, and the third graduate is a recent graduate that attended the program while working full-time and taking care of her children. She also was hired after only completing 3 weeks at her Externship. Dental Assistants are in High Demand right now, it is a good time to start your new career in the dental field.
