Rita is Hard Rock's longest serving waitress - BBC London

Rita Gilligan MBE has been serving in Hard Rock Cafe London since day one on the 14 June 1971.

She has served Elton John, Eric Clapton, The Beatles and Freddie Mercury, to name just a few.

Now 48 years later she's telling the tales of her career and how she saw the original Hard Rock on Old Park Lane turn into a global chain.
