Madeira Island - Part III: Horror Fish! Wine & Food Tour/Market/Park

We travel to Europe’s 3rd most dangerous airport just outside of Funchal, Madeira Island, Portugal to spend more than a week exploring and eating our way to vacation bliss! In this episode, we take a wine and food tour experiencing local gastronomy, history, architecture and local wines. We visit the popular local farmer’s market and famous fish market. And we also visit the local municipal park - Parque de Santa Catarina, an expansive public space filled with lush tropical plants and flowers high on the cliffs west of Funchal. Madeira, Portugal is the hidden secret of the Atlantic, 200 miles off the coast of Morocco.
