From ThinkorSwim to Theotrade, Don Kaufman is a key figure in the evolution of options trading in the transition from the trading pits to retail screen trading. Don was born into a family tradition of trading excellence including his uncle mathematician Michael Greenbaum, a key figure in the early days of O'Connor, the legendary Chicago trading firm. Many will know him initially from his Youtube videos explaining explaining the ins and outs of ThinkorSwim . Hitting the road with Tom Sosnoff for many years to promote ThinkorSwim, Don honed his skills at to connecting with people. There are many excellent traders. However, the skill set required to be both a great trader and to be able to share that with others in a dynamic and exciting way is very rare. The "even keel" and "mechanical" aspects of successful traders usually don't translate to an exciting teaching style. However Don is an exception to this. One can only imagine the excitement of those early days of promoting ThinkorSwim around the country. More recently, Don has focused his considerable talents on his latest company Theotrade.
