Dhonepata Bora is a traditional Bengali dish Here's a simple recipe:
*Ingredients:*
- 1 cup night chopped Dhonepata
- 1 cup gram flour (besan)
- 1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder
- 1/2 teaspoon green chili powder
- 1 small onion
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon cornflour
- 2 spoon Besan and rice flour
- 1 spoon black jeera
- Oil (for frying)
*Instructions:*
1. *Prepare the batter*: Mix gram flour, turmeric powder, green chili powder, salt, cornflour, rice flour and black jeera and besan to make a thick batter.
2. *Add flowers*: Add the night-flowering jasmine flowers to the batter and mix well.
3. *Fry the boras*: Heat oil in a deep frying pan. Drop small portions of the batter mixture into the oil and fry until golden brown.
4. *Drain and serve*: Remove the boras from the oil and drain excess oil. Serve as a snack or side dish.
