How to Register Business Name in Nigeria

In this short video, you will see the important steps to resgister your company business name with corporate affairs commission (CAC) in Nigeria.

It is 5 easy and straightforward steps to do that.

1. Create a profile to register your company business name by visitng corporate affairs commission website. www.cac.gov.ng
2. Start a business name reservation search on CAC website after you register and login. The name search attracts 500 naira fee for two names.

3. We assume your company business name search was succesful and therefore you need to proceed to apply for actuall business name registration.

4. After filling all necessary details, and uploading your govt issued ID, proceed to make payment with your debit or credit card.

5. Wait for your application to be approved and the you can proceed to collect your business name registration certificate at the CAC branch office your choose when applying.
