POCculture.com interview with Larnell Stovall, Action Director for The Continental: From the World of John Wick.

Senior Writer Elijah Johnson spoke with Stovall, who is a member of the legendary 87eleven Action Design team responsible for the incredible action in all of the John Wick films. Stovall has also worked on films like Judas and the Black Messiah, The Fate of the Furious and Titans.

Stovell shared that he was excited about putting his stamp on the John Wick universe, and that the 70's setting allowed him to do something fresh and unique in the world. He broke down what the stunt team is looking for in terms of setting up scenes, describing the goal as "replay value" which brings audiences back.

ABOUT THE CONTINENTAL: FROM THE WORLD OF JOHN WICK
The three-part event will explore the origin behind the iconic hotel-for-assassins centerpiece of the John Wick universe through the eyes and actions of a young Winston Scott, as he's dragged into the Hell-scape of 1970's New York City to face a past he thought he'd left behind. Winston charts a deadly course through the hotel's mysterious underworld in a harrowing attempt to seize the hotel where he will eventually take his future throne.
