How to Photograph the Moon | A Quick Guide

Last night was a "Supermoon": a full moon with the moon at it's closest point to the Earth this year. I took a few shots and posted them on other social media sites and got a few questions about how I shoot the moon at night. Hence this video.

Shooting the moon does not require a lot of equipment - a camera and telephoto lens are really all you need. A tripod and remote shutter release are useful but not necessary if you can stabilise your camera in other ways. You really just need to learn how to expose and focus manually our at least understand what your automatic settings are doing and adjust them accordingly.
