Crafting, confidence and connections

Kathleen has always loved quilting and the confidence it gives her. Eager to share her passion and help others, she started a quilting group 23 years ago for migrant women in Christchurch. She has since taught more than 300 women how to quilt and has won many international competitions for her own pieces. Kathleen has made more than 100 quilts herself – some of which are proudly displayed in her home. At AMI, we believe all passions, and the life they bring us are worth protecting.
