Bisol - Finest Prosecco from Italy

The quality of tradition.
The story of Bisol has demonstrated to have the entrepreneurial spirit in their DNA. The increasing quality of the company was made possible by the opportunity to experiment with new techniques in their own vineyards, a necessary element in the production of high quality wines. As Antonio Bisol, president of the company, recalls, "my father Desiderio always tried to purchase the best plots of land, those that were more expensive and steeper, therefore difficult to work, but whose slope and land composition proved ideal for the cultivation of Prosecco, thus demonstrating the utmost consideration for the quality of the product".

The quality of a territory.
Today, just as in the past, the company has "the quality of the territory" as its main credit and its added value. As Gianluca Bisol, managing director of the company, summarises efficiently: "We work with great passion in order that, in thirty years, Conegliano will have the same prestige as Reims, Valdobbiadene the same charm as Epernay and Altamarca the same fame as the Champagne region".
We find this attention in the vineyard, where Bisol manages with maximum care to every single phase of the production, from the cultivation of the grapevine to the sales, from the grape to the glass. -The vineyards managed by the company extend to 125 hectares, displaced in over 35 holdings, located in the best areas of the Denomination. The flagship is the three hectares owned in the uppermost reaches of the Cartizze hill, currently valued at around 2,5 million euro per hectare, the most costly vineyard in Italy. Th-rough an exchan- ge of energy from the younger generations, Bisol continues to hand down from father to son and to share management responsibilities among the various members of the family: a solid family unit that empowers the historic company. The owners are two brothers, Antonio and Eliseo, together with their respective sons, Gian- luca, Desiderio, Claudio and Alberto. Claudio Bisol, production manager, comments "...the anxious wait for the arrival of the grapes into the winery, the handling of the fruit as if it were alive so that, once guaranteed, it can be bottled... this is a cycle that repeats year after year, supported by great passion united with the latest technology". In fact, as Alberto Bisol, administration director, underlines: "we believe it is important to invest in the recovery of historic vineyards and new winemaking technologies that can make the natural passage from territory to wine as direct as possible. At the forefront...of tradition".
