Hello my beautiful clean eating friends...Finally, a healthy granola!! This recipe I found a few years back ( it was in a book about clean eating)...I changed the nuts, dried fruit and spices...you can do the same for your granola...just keep all the ingredients CLEAN...what does clean mean..As few ingredients added as possible...the ingredients you use should be as close to the way nature makes it...

For those few of you who have a difficult time with ingredients I use or the utensils I use...Please feel free to substitute anything that suits your life and makes you happy...this is what I will continue to do...As adults...we have earned the right to make choices for ourselves...please feel free to do the same for you...Have a beautiful day...Hugs and Bisous!!

What you'll need:
4 cups gluten Free oats
2 cups brown rice cereal ( or another whole grain no sugar added)
1 1/2 cups unsweetened coconut flakes
1 cup sliced almonds ( no salt or sugar coatings on nuts)
1/2 cup coarse chop walnuts
1/2 cup coarse chop pecans
1 1/2 teaspoon vanilla ( use the best you can afford)
pinch of sea salt
1/2 cup pure maple syrup ( I like the dark amber, more flavor)
1/2 cup of coconut oil ( extra Virgin only)
1/2 cup chopped dried cherries ( or any you like)
2 tablespoons of cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon of apple pie spice ( you can use spice of your choice)

Preheat oven - 250 degrees!

In a large bowl mix all dry ingredients well.
In a small bowl mix all wet ingredients well...pour over dry...mix well.

In two glass 9x13 casserole or baking dishes...split granola mix into casserole dishes...

Bake in a 250 degrees oven for 60-65 minutes...Turn oven off...leave granola until completely cooled..( do not stir while baking)...once completely cool...break apart with a spoon...store in a container....it will last for weeks this way! Enjoy in milk or over yogurt...or put a few tablespoons over your cooked oatmeal for an extra crunch...ENJOY!!
* If you want oil free, use applesauce, clean apple butter or pumpkin puree ( not pumpkin pie filling)...You can also change out the maple syrup for honey or brown rice syrup...of course this will change the flavor..*
