"Il vole.
Il vole sous l’eau.
Il va et voyage en cercle de la pointe bretonne aux Caraïbes.
Il navigue en Atlantique, d’îles en îles…
Fermez donc les yeux, vous le verrez en écoutant.
Lui ? C’est L’Oiseau Didariel, notre guide de traversée. Jouée par Romain au piano, cette pièce est ma cinquième Étude-Statue, ici inspirée par une sculpture de Nito Dariel, et constitua le point de départ de l’écriture de cet album. Un oiseau de marbre blanc qui vole sous l’eau, enluminé d’une douce musique en résonances maritimes ; un cocon de coton, une main tendue… C’est ainsi que je voulais vous inviter à voyager."

It flies through the water.
It takes off and journeys from the tip of Brittany to the Caribbean, crossing the Atlantic, island by island...
If you close your eyes, you can see it while you listen.
What creature do I mean? The bird sculpted by Didariel (L’Oiseau Didariel): it will be our travel guide. Played by Romain at the piano, this is my fifth ‘Étude-Statue’, a piece of music inspired by a piece of sculpture, in this case a work created by Nito Dariel. It was the starting point for compositions that make up this album. A white marble bird that flies through water, embellished by soft music with seafaring echoes; a cotton cocoon, a hand offered in friendship... Such was my idea for inviting you along for the voyage."
