Allowing his emotions to rule over him, Oliver (Jameson Blake) does the unthinkable. Meanwhile, Eva (Julia Barretto) confronts Inno (Joshua Garcia) after seeing what happened to their project. This then leads to another altercation between the former lovers. In the middle of their argument, however, Eva is unable to contain her lingering feelings toward her old flame. Elsewhere, Roxanne (Elisse Joson) is resolved to wait for Inno. Soon, she and Botong (Dwight Gaston) are surprised when a familiar person pays them a visit.

Out of sheer respect, Eva (Julia Barretto) and Inno (Joshua Garcia) personally inform Rosa (Rio Locsin) of their reunion. Disappointed, the old woman slaps her adopted granddaughter with a reminder of their ongoing war with the Cortezes. This time, however, the Saavedra Jewelry heiress resolves to fight for what her heart truly desires. Unfortunately, horror lurks close by the Mapendos as Stella (Alice Dixson) receives presidential pardon. Anticipating her impending release, the sophisticated Cortes has her eyes locked in on revenge, most especially against her bitter rival, Rebecca (Iza Calzado).
