The Wagoneers - Live 2018 (Full concert)

Between the late 70's and early 90's, in Texas, a series of very interesting groups appeared, The Leroi Brothers, Ted & The Talltops, The Tailgators, Rick Broussard's Two Hoot and a Holler, The Commandos or The Wagoneers were some of them. The latter were led by the great Mount Warden, and were directly influenced from the music of his countryman Buddy Holly and the Texan Honky Tonk. They only recorded 2 LP's, but what 2 albums! Monte Warden has a fantastic solo musical career, he is an excellent composer and lyricist who handles genres such as Country, American Rock, or Rockabilly to perfection. I recommend you the first solo LP of Monte Warden from 1993, it is a marvel in the purest Bobby Fuller style. This video belongs to one of the periodic meetings of The Wagoneers that almost every year meets themselfs and celebrates some concerts to the delight of their fans and friends this belongs to the year 2018 in the Saxon Pub. The musicians who appear in this concert except for the drums, they are all original members of the group; Monte Warden on rhythm guitar and lead vocals, Brent Wilson lead guitar and vocals, Craig Allan Pettigrew bass and Massimo Palermo drums (Massimo was the drummer for Kelly Willis's band, on his early albums).
