50 Years Air Zermatt – Day 1

Am ersten Tag der Feierlichkeiten zum 50-jährigen Bestehen war Action am Boden und in der Luft angesagt. Während die Winden-, Lösch- und Rettungsdemos der Air Zermatt einen spannenden Einblick in deren Alltag gewährten, zeigte die Schweizer Luftwaffe die Power und Agilität des Super Pumas. Ausserdem sorgten die BO 105 C der Flying Bulls und Akroflieger Nicolas Ivanoff (bekannt aus Red Bull Air Race) mit ihren spektakulären, "g-kräftigen" Flugmanövern bei den rund 7000 Besucherinnen und Besuchern für Begeisterung.

On the first day of the 50th anniversary celebrations, action on the ground and in the air was on the agenda. While the Air Zermatt's winch, fire-fighting and rescue demonstrations provided an exciting insight into their everyday lives, the Swiss Air Force showed the power and agility of the Super Puma. Both the BO 105 C of the Flying Bulls and aerobatic pilot Nicolas Ivanoff (known from Red Bull Air Race) also impressed the 7000 visitors with their spectacular flight manoeuvres.
