The sad story of Nasa Star

Purudu Kapuge who is from Sri Lanka and lives in a small village in Galenbindunuwewa.
He invented a special tractor used for cutting and rebuilding platforms in paddy fields.
He submitted his machine to the competition held in America.
There were 1500 competitors from 76 countries and he came first!

Special award winner of intel IESL2013 in electrical and mechanical engineering section.
Named a star as “KAPUGE” by NASA - USA
Unfortunately his invention is now decaying due to lack of support for the society.
He sold his poor house and land for funds for his project.
Now he is living a very poor life. The government doesn’t appreciate his work for the country and his invention is now decaying
