Artificial Intelligence Course - Class 18 (End-to-End AI Use Cases)

This session marked the 18th class of the Practical Artificial Intelligence Course for the April 2025 batch.

Punjab AI Excellence is led by Dr. Sandeep Singh Sandha, a PhD from UCLA and BTech from IIT Roorkee. Via our courses, we introduce students to the real-world possibilities of AI. It explained how AI is transforming fields like healthcare, agriculture, and wildlife monitoring, with examples like AI detecting cancer at AIIMS Delhi and AI predicting plant diseases with high accuracy. The instructors also shared their backgrounds, highlighting their contributions to global technology projects, including smartphone CPUs and AI-driven robotics.

This class covers end-to-end AI use-cases to show how AI is developed in the real-world.

Students are given a glimpse into what AI really means, how AI systems are built, and how companies like Amazon use AI to personalize services. The course promises a hands-on experience where learners will not only understand the theory but also build real AI applications using Python. With students joining from 200+ cities, the excitement was high. The roadmap was laid out clearly, encouraging students to learn systematically and become future leaders in AI.

ਇਹ ਸੈਸ਼ਨ ਅਪ੍ਰੈਲ 2025 ਬੈਚ ਲਈ ਪ੍ਰੈਕਟੀਕਲ ਆਰਟੀਫੀਸ਼ਲ ਇੰਟੈਲੀਜੈਂਸ ਕੋਰਸ ਦੀ ਸ਼ੁਰੂਆਤ ਸੀ। ਡਾ. ਸੰਦੀਪ ਸਿੰਘ ਸੰਧਾ ਦੀ ਅਗਵਾਈ ਹੇਠ, ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਏ.ਆਈ. ਦੀ ਹਕੀਕਤੀ ਦੁਨੀਆ ਨਾਲ ਜਾਣੂ ਕਰਵਾਇਆ ਗਿਆ। ਸੈਸ਼ਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਦੱਸਿਆ ਗਿਆ ਕਿ ਕਿਵੇਂ ਏ.ਆਈ. ਹੁਣ ਹੈਲਥਕੇਅਰ, ਖੇਤੀਬਾੜੀ ਅਤੇ ਜੰਗਲੀ ਜੀਵ ਸੰਭਾਲ ਵਰਗੇ ਖੇਤਰਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਬਦਲ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ, ਜਿਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਏ.ਆਈ. ਦੁਆਰਾ ਕੈਂਸਰ ਦੀ ਪਛਾਣ ਅਤੇ ਪੌਦੇ ਦੀਆਂ ਬਿਮਾਰੀਆਂ ਦੀ ਸਹੀ ਭਵਿੱਖਬਾਣੀ ਵਰਗੇ ਉਦਾਹਰਣ ਦਿੱਤੇ ਗਏ। ਅਧਿਆਪਕਾਂ ਨੇ ਆਪਣਾ ਅਨੁਭਵ ਵੀ ਸਾਂਝਾ ਕੀਤਾ, ਜਿਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਸਮਾਰਟਫੋਨ CPUs ਅਤੇ ਏਆਈ ਰੋਬੋਟਿਕਸ ਵਿਚ ਯੋਗਦਾਨ ਸ਼ਾਮਲ ਹਨ।

ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਦੱਸਿਆ ਗਿਆ ਕਿ ਏ.ਆਈ. ਕੀ ਹੈ, ਕਿਵੇਂ ਬਣਾਈ ਜਾਂਦੀ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਕਿਵੇਂ ਅਮੇਜ਼ਾਨ ਵਰਗੀਆਂ ਕੰਪਨੀਆਂ ਇਸਨੂੰ ਵਰਤਦੀਆਂ ਹਨ। ਕੋਰਸ ਦੌਰਾਨ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀ ਨਾ ਸਿਰਫ ਸਿਧਾਂਤ ਸਮਝਣਗੇ, ਬਲਕਿ ਹਕੀਕਤੀ ਏ.ਆਈ. ਐਪਲੀਕੇਸ਼ਨ ਵੀ ਬਣਾਉਣਗੇ। ਪਾਠਕ੍ਰਮ ਵਿੱਚ ਪਾਏ ਗਏ 200+ ਸ਼ਹਿਰਾਂ ਦੇ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ, ਉਤਸ਼ਾਹ ਦਾ ਮਾਹੌਲ ਸੀ। ਏ.ਆਈ. ਵਿਚ ਭਵਿੱਖ ਦੇ ਆਗੂ ਬਣਨ ਲਈ ਇੱਕ ਸਪਸ਼ਟ ਰੋਡਮੈਪ ਵੀ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਗਿਆ।
