Planting, cultivating, and processing sustainable crops like bamboo will help preserve the valuable forests in Palawan which are essential not only to the natural environment but also to the sustenance of the thriving ecotourism industry in the area.

In Palawan, a multi-billion investments company ventured in bamboo plantation to produce high quality solid bamboo products focus on the production of laminated bamboo indoor floor planks and wall panels.

GUEVENT Investments Development Corporation (GIDC) in cooperation with the DENR, the company is focus for the protection and sustainability of the natural resources in the area. GIDC supports the reforestation of Palawan in which their plantation are located in Barangay Poblacion and other barangays in Taytay, Palawan.
