Sailboat to Trawler/Shanty Conversion (Ep 1)

I start my trawler/ shanty boat conversion from a Catalina 22 sailboat that was given to me for free (nothing is ever free!). I chose to convert this boat only because of the extensive rot and voids in deck and cabin top making it unsafe to ever be used as a sailboat again. Despite weather I get some stuff done and soon it will be on it's way to a new life as a trawler/ shanty boat for exploring the inland and protected waters.
