Diy crochet face scrubbies - cotton and eco friendly reusable face wipes

Crochet Face Scrubbies make the easiest beginners crochet project. I have made a fair few now for Stocking Fillers this Christmas and as they are so soft they make a great gift for friends and family who aren't keen on being green. They just seem to win people over as they are machine washable and actually much better than the 'disposable' cotton pads. So as far as reusable face wipes go, these are the most sustainable around! Plus if you make them in unique colours they prove to be really popular amongst households with more than one teenager!
If you are giving these as presents for someone who uses a lot of dark make up - and you want them to be used not just as face scrubbies but make up removers, then go for a darker colour cotton. I have chosen a range of colors for a few friends as I know they like to keep certain face cloths for certain tasks.
