Labor fails to improve unemployment woes despite overhauling the jobs program

The Albanese government has failed to improve Australia’s unemployment figure it comes despite Labor overhauling the jobs program when they got into office.

New data has revealed that there are still more than one million people receiving either Job Seeker or Youth Allowance welfare payments.

The Daily Telegraph's James Willis joined Sky News host Sharri Markson to discuss the latest unemployment figures.

“This is one million Aussies who have been declared capable okay for working at least a little bit … and yet in two years of government with Tony Burke as the appointed minister, Labor has failed to move the dial on this figure,” Mr Willis said.
