Multi-band Russian Radar System

We have recently added the mobile, three-coordinate multi-band radar system, 55Zh6MME, to VRSG's 3D model library. This platform is an advancement of the NEBO-M radar system, designed to detect and track sUAS, low-observable aerial objects, and ballistic targets in challenging EW jamming environments.

The new model replicates all key components and functionality of the radar system: the C2 vehicle cabin, antennae, and both decimeter-band and meter band radar hardware; including the latter’s active phased array antenna in circular and sector scanning modes.

Replicating the reality of the EW landscape in the simulated environment relies on the ability to populate scenarios with highly realistic 3D models of the assets that are redefining EW tactics. VRSG’s models enable personnel to train to recognize and identify platforms in the heat of the battle thanks to:

- Highly detailed geometry
- Accurate multiple paint schemes
- Articulated parts
- Damage states
- Advanced animations
- Real-time, physics-based thermal sensor viewing within VRSG.

As with all models added to the VRSG library, this platform is now available to download and use by all VRSG users on active software maintenance, at no additional cost.
