Breonna Taylor was a black 26 year old who LIVED IN LOUISVILLE, KY (WHERE WE ARE) with her boyfriend and worked as an EMT and wanted to become a nurse. On MARCH 13,2020 LMPD broke into her residence, based off a drug no-knock warrant for someone who didn't live there and was already in the police's custody. She was shot 8 times and died from her injuries. It wasn't until this became a national story that the Mayor THEN decided the no-knock warrant should be changed. Not to mention, they arrested and charged her boyfriend with attempted murder because he fired shots back hitting an officer in the leg to defend their home from what he assumed was a break-in. Those charges against her boyfriend was dropped as of May 22,2020. SAY HER NAME!
