Is electric heating expensive?
It’s no secret that electric heating is more expensive that gas; here in the UK the cost of electricity is 10-15p/kWh and the cost of gas is just 3.5-4p/kWh. Even accounting for the inefficiency of gas, it’s still around 3 times cheaper.

Is it worth the cost to install central heating?
Despite the hefty initial retrofit cost of installing a central heating system to your property, most people would benefit long term from the investment. With potential savings of several hundred pounds a year, a central heating system could pay for itself within 10-15 years. Not an immediate payback, but the pipework and radiators would then be in place for any replacement boilers needed in the future.

Why is Marino Morikawa's lake cleaning technology so important?
Morikawa's technology uses bubbles 10,000 times smaller than those in your can of coke to trap and neutralise contaminates like viruses and bacteria. With so much of the world's freshwater lakes and rivers affected by the problem, his all natural solution could offer the revitalisation of these contaminated areas.
