AmeriCorps member, Taylor Thomas, winner of GBI's January media contest, describes her video: "This is a video of the lucky California Condor known as 586 (K6) being release back into the wild after undergoing treatment for lead toxicity. I am serving with The Peregrine Fund, a nonprofit organization dedicated to the management and protection of these critically endangered species."
