Teen suicide is the 3rd leading cause of death in teenagers. One in eight kids has a suicidal thoughts, there are over 1000 deaths in the USA from suicide and over half of teenagers have either been depressed, were treated for depression or have had suicidal thoughts at one time or another. Discussing suicide does not prompt one to be suicidal nor act on their thoughts. Pain, suffocation, depersonalization, depression and anxiety can all be incapacitating.
