Today we react to "Why was Italy so ineffective in World War Two" by the Armchair Historian. The video overall is great, stunning visuals combined with historically accurate details that help point toward the main focus of the video. Although most of the video is great, there are a few map mistakes I.e. Lybia and Doconese Islands.

Italy's ineffectiveness pretty much comes down to the fact that one, there was a lack of resources. Two, the industry was terrible and therefore many soldiers were underequipped. Three, there was a lack of competent commanders. Four, Mussolini meddled with things he shouldn't have. Five, the Italians had prepared for a long protracted war in the Alpine Mountains, not a fast-paced war in North Africa. And lastly, the Italians were behind on military technology.
