Hunting the Wild places & Wild Birds - Worries and Concerns

Max, my 5 year old GSP, and I hunt our first Upland Gamebird season in NW Montana.

So why all the concern and worry?

Some concerns are valid, like him encountering a rattle snake or chasing after deer and other wildlife new to him.

However, one of the biggest fears is that the hunting area in the mission valley is also home to a fair sized population of Grizzly bears.
