Vintage Streetcars In San Francisco: The MUNI F and E Lines

Streetcars and electric railroads have been a prominent part of Bay Area life since the end of the 19th Century, and no other place can this heritage be lived better than San Francisco. The San Francisco Municipal Transportation Agency operated a fleet of vintage streetcars on the F and E Lines of its transit system, being restored by the non-profit Market Street Railway organization. MUNI's first car the Type A Iron Monster 1 is seen along the Embarcadero, along with Blackpool Boat Trams, Milan Trams, Market Street Railway 578, and 3 different types of PCC cars. The trolley go clang clang clang just like the old Judy Garland song in this video. Sequences were recorded in this video from 2014 - 2015. Enjoy!
