Hero (20th Anniversary Cover) A tribute to New York City

The original version of Hero is one of my favorite male pop ballads of all time. I remember in the days after the attacks on NYC on September 11th 2001, this song became an unofficial anthem. I lived in NYC for 11 years, and I love the city very much. This year marks the 20th Anniversary of the original release of Hero. I decided to record a simply cover and I traveled back to NYC as we were coming out of the Coronavirus pandemic. I want my version to offer hope and inspiration to the city I love so much as it fights back from the darkness of the last year. I dedicate my version to the Heroes of then and now. Special thanks to the original artist who made it a classic, Enrique Iglesias.
