"The Donald" 66cc Motorized Bicycle - volume 2 - The Coaster Brake Crash

This is a gas powered bicycle project that I have started and will hopefully be keeping up on. It is comprised of a "china-girl" 66cc import 2-stroke gas engine kit purchased with winnings from a trip to Atlantic City, NJ.

I figured I would use the money I took from Donald Trump and build a gas efficient bicycle to ride to work. Basically maximize my winnings...Thanks Donald!

66cc 2-stroke kit from Kingsmotorbikes.com
Huffy Cranbrook cruiser from Walmart
Various stuff off of Ebay.com
Various custom little tid-bits from stuff laying around

In this video you can see where I come in a bit "HOT" into the cul-de-sac and ride the bike like you would a mountain bike, bmx, etc. You put the inside pedal on the high-side normally. Well on a coaster brake bike, NO SUCH LUCK.

When I went to slam the inside pedal up...I slammed on the brake and well the rest is evident in the video.

I have just since changed the wheel set to get rid of the coaster brake that was of the cheapest construction. What more can you expect from an $99 bike. The hub had an ear-wax like lube in it, was never able to be set-up properly, and from 4 rides around the house was already hogged out.
