How to Replace Hydraulic Fluid on Bobcat Compact Excavators

Hydraulic fluid is the lifeblood that makes the excavator function. It should be replaced every 1,000 hours or every 12 months or after major repair or contamination. Watch this video to learn how to replace the hydraulic fluid on Bobcat® M, R, & R2-Series compact excavators.

Note: At this maintenance interval, the hydraulic filter, case drain filter and breather cap should also be replaced.
