Hole in the Rock OHV Trail: a Jeep Badge of Honor overlanding trip

The Jeep Badge of Honor program highlights some of the best off-road trails across the United States, and the “hole in the rock“ trail in southern Utah is no exception. In this trail you will enjoy a variety of terrain including rocky roads with steps of various sizes, slick rock climbs/descents, fast scenic drives along the top of mesas, and amazing vistas.

In this trip we started on a Thursday afternoon, arriving at the trailhead late that night. Starting on the trail early Friday morning we made it to the end by early afternoon and after enjoying a lovely view we turned around and made it about halfway back in time to camp that evening
