A Day in the Life as a PRODUCT MANAGER!

I can talk all day about what product management is like, but sometimes it's helpful to see what a workday looks like for a real-life product manager.

Obviously, no two days are the same as a product manager, but in this video, I am highlighting one of my more typical days.

My day always starts with three standups with engineering teams and my product team. Many product managers have just one engineering team that they work with, but I currently work with two (which is exhausting but also super fun).

Most days I'll also have one to two one on one checking with engineering managers, my managers, other product folks, or people in other departments.

There are two types of days that are my favorite as a product manager; the days when I brainstorm and ideate, and the days when I release. In the day I outlined in this video, I got to hold an ideation session with a UX designer and engineering team and it was a great way for us to come up with our approach to solving a major customer problem.

Release days are also a blast - I'll outline one of those days in the future!
