Homelander faces backlash for killing an innocent African man and drops in at a local protest against him. He tries to plead his case but only seems to make things worse, and does the unthinkable. It may have only have been in his imagination but for those brief seconds we all thought could he really do it? Could he really be capable of doing such a thing? Thankfully for everyone's sake he didn’t but let’s be honest we all know this might be a sign of something even worse to come. Homelander has done some pretty unspeakable things and it's only a matter of time until he actually does do something like this again.
