Guided Reading | Word Work for Emergent Readers (Levels A, B and C)

Teaching a word work lesson to your emergent readers is an extremely important part of your small group instruction. Making time for word work with your emergent readers is an essential aspect of Guided Reading because it helps your emergent readers with recognizing patterns and words which move into their long-term memory, instead of just memorizing the words. Word work can help our emergent readers become BETTER readers, spellers, as well as writers.
