Hantek 1008C oscilloscope looking at AC ripple
Using my modified Hantek 1008C oscilloscope I'm able to look at only the AC ripple that's riding on the 14V DC. I have modified my scope using only a 0.1Uf capcitor in series with the positive pin on the BNC input.
