We hope one of the things that comes across is that Backblaze is an environment where everyone is focused on providing actual value to our customers. With over 750 Petabytes of data from customers in more than 150 countries, restoring over 40 Billion files, we’ve been able to build a self-sustaining business. We’re proud of our bootstrapped history which means we get to make decisions based on what we think is the right thing to do.

Over the past decade we’ve built a culture where people actually like coming in to work. We love having a workplace that rewards open, honest communication. We like to have fun,but we also take tremendous pride in being an innovator in the cloud storage industry. It takes our entire team to be able to offer the most affordable cloud storage on the planet.

What makes us different? When filming this video, we had multiple team members say “I’m going to stay here until I retire.” We only included one of those quotes in this video above. The people here matter.
