Went out and took pictures of strangers. Taking pictures of strangers on the street is how I initially started doing photography and it is a good way to get a simple portfolio going. I filmed the photography with my GoPro. Normally you would pose them more and move them around more, but I wasn't feeling too social that day. I am glad I did go out and I had fun. I recommend to somebody trying this to try for the golden hour. The way you talk to strangers is you just go for it and ignore everything else your head is telling you. taking photographs of random people on the street can be tricky because they do not know how to model. Try to guide them as much as you can. I filmed the intro with my a6300 and the pictures were shot with my Nikon D5100 and a 35mm 1.8. The Nikon was my first camera and is cheap. I really recommend it for a beginner camera. Nikon d5100 takes great pics and I have never been disappointed with it. I sent the pictures to the strangers and I hope they like it.
This was shot in Sawgrass Mills in Sunrise, FL. I don't know many people in Sunrise so if you are from there hit me up. I normally do booked sessions of photography for portraits, but today I had the day off so decided to go out and have come fun. Portraits of strangers are fun to have because it reminds you of the day. If you want to try out taking pictures of random people on the street I recommend it even if you already have a portfolio it's always nice to get out of your comfort zone.
I also just got my Sigma 30mm so I’ll probably drop a video with that one soon.
