I really thought getting into real estate was going to be easy.

I came from an appraisal background, so I figured people would automatically trust me, hire me, and the business would take off fast.

Reality check: my first 6 months as an agent… I didn’t sell a single home.

And honestly, I was making the same mistake most new agents make. I kept trying different strategies for two weeks at a time, expecting instant results. When something didn’t work immediately, I jumped to the next thing.

That cycle kills momentum. What actually changed things for me was consistency. Repeating the right actions long enough for people to notice, trust, and remember you.

Most people only see success after it happens. They don’t see the slow seasons, self doubt, and learning curve before things finally click.

If you’re building something right now, don’t quit too early.
