These are key clips from a famous optional boss fight in 2022's iconic Elden Ring game. Played in April 2026 on HP Omen 16-am02997TX gaming laptop tech with a Rog Azoth X mechanical keyboard and Viper V3 Pro mouse.

Here I faced Dragonlord Placidusax in New Game + 1. For the second time in a few weeks I beat him on the first try, after doing so in New Game + 4 in my main account. In both instances I benefitted from the Crimsonwhirl Bubbletear and its ability to negate elemental damage for 15 seconds.

I got a bit carried away in maximising my bleed before the crystal tear wore off and neglected Placidusax's fire in one instance due to which once I got him down to 30% and then 5% of his health, he kept on teleporting away.

So, the full fight took me 2 minutes and 10-15 odd seconds due to these teleports, but if I had dodged a fire at one point I was well en route to finishing this guy in under one minute, and given his health pool that is epic!
