6.5 ton Yardworks log splitter in action. This is my first run with this brand new log splitter from Canadian Tire.

This is an electric model which sports a very powerful 2.5 hp motor, and is rated at 15 amps.

This is a beast of a machine, as you will see in many of my upcoming videos in the next week. I have about 130 logs to split, so you will be seeing a lot of footage, as I choose some of the larger logs to break up. In this video I demonstrate the log splitter breaking almost a 12" diameter log.
