ASKING FOR HELP! stained glass soldering irons for the kids.

EDIT- 4/28.GOOD MORNING! after less then 24 hours we have hit my goal and some. which, truthfully my goal was under what we really need if we don't want to group together future students on one iron. so that's GREAT news. with iron and venmo donations I've been able to get enough & basic supplies to cover this year but gives us a little start safety net for coming classes. With that said, i am leaving just two more irons on the list for wiggle room and for people that just want to help and asked. ive put up just a few smaller items like foil and solder. but that is truly the extent of everything we could need. you guys have gone above and beyond for these kids and it means so much to me. I am removing my venmo, every bit of that ive used to get actual soldering sponges, stands, tip tinner and rolls of 60/40! I am just so excited to be able to see these kids work with not only NEW supplies but GOOD supplies. thank you all so much.
I am coming to you guys for help. I am hoping that this video reaches the right people that not only could or would want to help but more importantly, understand why classes like this are so important. It is that time of year in which i go into a local inner city high school and help teach my best friends students how to make or the basics of stained glass. we get to do these little abstract hanging pieces that they are usually very proud of. lol. Anyway. This year as i'm sure you know has proven even more difficult financially. To be able to gather the supplies we need for this class to happen is an expense we are struggling to meet on our own. The irons we were working with last year are unfortunately no good and to be frank were to begin with. But again, with so many students and a budget of zero dollars from the district it's what we had. If i want to continue offering this to these kids i am going to have to get some better soldering irons in here that not only work but will last more then two weeks. At this point it is more of a financial burden having to buy so many soldering irons even as 20 a piece for so many students. Again, if you can help, thank you.
