Finding Rectangles with the Same Perimeter and Different Areas

If your student is struggling with a math topic, my best tip is try to find a way to make it hands on - searching math manipulatives will give you so many different options!

This is a clasic problem - Find a rectangle that has the same perimeter, but different areas. By using cheeze its (or any square object), the students will be able to test out different ideas before commiting them to paper! Physically counting around the outside of the rectangle will give their brains another hook into understanding perimeter.
