Shooting near White House kills 2 National Guardsmen
A person is in police custody after a shooting in Northwest D.C. in which two National Guardsmen were reportedly killed.
DC Police posted on X, formerly known as Twitter, that officers are investigating the shooting at 17th Street and I Street.
West Virginia Governor Patrick Morrisey released a statement Wednesday evening that the two National Guardsmen had been killed in the shooting.
